Nowadays preparing a meatless meal is no longer such a challenge. Not only fast food restaurants, but practically all casual restaurants in America are offering tasty vegan and vegetarian options, which are much more than a salad. The evaluations with the term “based on plants”, in OpenTable, have already increased 200% since 2017, and in 2016 there are not even 100 evaluations on the subject, the number has been increasing almost 15,000 per month.
In celebration of the growing supply of vegetable products in America, OpenTable ranked the 50 best restaurants for vegetarians in the country. Most of these restaurants are located close to metropolitan areas, such as Los Angeles and New York. Not all restaurants are completely meat-free, but have been approved as plant-based from more than 12 million verified reviews from more than 30,000 restaurants in the United States.
