The French designer, known for his elegant and timeless creations, has captured the attention of interior design enthusiasts. In this article, we’ll get to know the style of renowned designer Pierre Yovanovitch.

Born in France, before becoming an iconic name in interior design, Pierre had a distinguished career in fashion, working for Pierre Cardin in the 1990s. This early experience in the world of haute couture profoundly influenced his aesthetic sensibility, something that would later be reflected in his work as an interior designer.

Style and Inspiration

In 2001, Yovanovitch founded his own design studio in Paris. Since opening, he has developed high-quality residential and commercial projects, gaining recognition for his ability to combine classic and contemporary elements with unparalleled sophistication and elegance. “Yovanovitch’s signature haute couture aesthetic combines his mastery of volumes, proportions and light with a particular inclination for raw and refined materials.” Yovanovitch has always been inspired by the “Swedish Grace” design movement and the artists Axel Einar Hjorth and Gunnar Asplund.

Château de Fabrègues

The historic castle in Provence, built in the 17th century, was transformed by Yovanovitch into a luxury residence, maintaining respect for the original architecture while adding contemporary touches. The project is a perfect example of how he manages to harmonize the classic and the new. In 2009, the castle became the designer’s home, where he considers it a haven and paradise. “Today I might say, without vanity, that Fabrègues is the full and complete expression of my taste. A sort of manifesto”.
