Cleveland Museum of Art

The expansion of this Rafael Viñoly project was not limited to adding new spaces, it also redefined the way visitors interact with the museum itself and the art. Vinõly complemented the historic character of the original building by creating a visual and more functional harmony. The new spaces offer a contemporary canvas for displaying the museum’s art and the conservation restoration facilities ensure that the works are conserved and preserved for future generations.

432 Park Avenue, New York

One of the architect’s best-known projects, this 423-meter-high residential skyscraper is considered one of the tallest buildings in the West. Its design is simple and with carefully calculated proportions, the building’s structure is rectangular and symmetrical with a glass exterior that offers panoramic views of the “city that never sleeps”. The apartments have been designed to maximize comfort and lifestyle for those who live there.

Setia Federal hill, Malaysia

Located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, this Viñoly project demonstrates the architect’s ability to create spaces that combine aesthetics, innovation and functionality. The design stands out in the urban area of Kuala Lumpur and has become an architectural landmark of the city with its modern and elegant aesthetic. The project integrates harmoniously with its natural surroundings, and its approach has ensured that the building complements the local landscape by incorporating some natural elements while maximizing the panoramic views.

Carrasco International Airport

Located in Montevideo, Uruguay, the project was completed in 2009 and is considered an architectural masterpiece in the city. The design of the terminal has a unique (curved) shape that starts from the ground and was inspired by the dunes along the Uruguayan coast. The architectural lines create a sense of movement and dynamism. The airport was also designed to provide the best experiences for passengers.
